Meet the gorgeous duo: Anjali and James who are going to be the protagonists of the next few blog posts. Beautiful, smart, funny and just so adorable to be around, their positive stamina shines through.
We met just at the beginning of this year, traditionally via FaceTime call and despite the limitations that modern communication devices have, Fábio and I felt such a warm presence of this lovely couple that we knew we really wanted to be a part of their wedding vendor team. And after few more email exchanges we were happy to hear that we have been honoured the pleasure of photographing Anjali and James´s destination wedding in Portugal.

Right from the beginning our talks focused around engagement session location. The couple´s initial choice for the pre-wedding photo shoot venue was Monserrate Palace, but we soon learnt that the stunning Sintra landmark was undergoing heavy restoration works, making it almost impossible to be the impressive session background as it normally is. Luckily there is little shortage in gorgeous places in and around Lisbon and we soon came across beautiful Palacio de Queluz which proved a lovely alternative for the Monserrate Palace.

The day of the photo session was so far one of the hottest days of the year, but it didn´t hold us from having a very enjoyable afternoon together. Apart from photographing the couple, one of our favourite things during session is getting to know our models. So we learned that Anjali and James both live and work in London- one on the south, the other up north, but they only met at a working experience in New York … (the Cupid´s mysterious ways 😉 😀 ) Their wedding events will start with Catholic church wedding after which Mehdi and Sangeet will follow. The next day they´ll celebrate the Hindu wedding followed by a fun reception all at the grounds of beautiful Penha Longa.

We had such a lovely afternoon and Anjali and James are so natural and there’ is nothing we love more than photographing people in love.

Anjali and James, you guys rock! It was a pleasure to hang out with you both and we cannot wait to meet you next week for your wedding festivities! See you very soon 😀 !
