Happy Saint Valentine\u00b4s day everyone! What a perfect day to share Sara and Jesse\u00b4s beautiful love celebrated by and with the couple\u00b4s closest family and friends at the grounds of gorgeous Pestana Palace<\/a>! And not only is Pestana Palace one of our favourite\u00a0Lisbon\u00a0<\/span>wedding venues, but Sara and Jesse were such an amazing couple to work with!<\/p>\n

The stunning duo lives in the US, but Sara has Portuguese roots and hence the couple\u00b4s choice for having a destination wedding in Portugal. We hadn\u00b4t met the bride and groom in person until the wedding day, but through the very first email we received from Sara we knew the pair was “our kind of couple” and our excitement to meet them in person grew with each email the sweet bride has sent us.<\/p>\n

It was a lovely August day with just the right amount of sunshine\u00a0and an amazing breeze that kept guests perfectly cool. Both bride and groom had their pre-wedding preparations at the stunning venue. One of the most adorable part <\/span>of the day was the `first look\u00b4 moment where beautiful Sara descended the Pestana Palace indoor stairs to meet her future husband to be! How lovely they are together!! Another unique aspect of Sara and Jesse\u00b4s wedding was the adorable presence of the groom\u00b4s son and daughter! One could see how supportive and loving everyone is to one another and how happy the teenage duo was for their dad!<\/p>\n

The exchange of vows happened at the Palace\u00b4s garden where the wedding guests enjoyed their cocktails. The dinner and speeches were held at one of the stunning rooms of the Palace. Our primary focus is always on candid and real, raw emotions, and the heartfelt speeches gave us exactly those moments…<\/p>\n

After the dinner, the whole party moved across the street to the Palace\u00b4s Old Stables for Cake Cutting and dancing party.\u00a0 Everything was planned to perfection, and the newly- weds and guests enjoyed dancing the night away on the dance floor.<\/p>\n

Sara and Jesse\u00b4s Big Day was our kind of wedding: intimate, sweet and real. The couple was tireless in taking our advice on where to take the best picture and their spontaneity was second to no ones!\u00a0 And they smile! Oh how they all are such positive, smiley, happy bunch! Really makes the photographer\u2019s work so much more enjoyable than it already is!<\/p>\n

Dear Sara and Jesse, you are so incredibly sweet and trusting! It has been a realy honour to have been picked by you as your wedding photographers, and a great pleasure to have met you, spent this beautiful day alongside you and get to know your lovely family and friends! We wish you many blessings and happiness for the years to come and we hope to catch up when you\u00b4re next in Lisbon!<\/p>\n
