It was with the very first email that Renata and Harry stole our hearts.<\/span> “We love animals, photography and a good laugh” read one of the lines, and we knew it then and there that it would be very unfortunate if we didn\u00b4t get the chance to photograph the wedding of the authors of this lovely message \ud83d\ude42 So after a friendly Skype chat and a couple of more email exchanges, we were on board of the beautiful journey for the couple\u00b4s wedding countdown.<\/span>
\nOn the wedding day we accompanied Renata and Harry right from their getting ready moments, and a happy smile never left the couple\u00b4s faces. The effortlessly beautiful Renata had her bridal preparations at the Pestana Palace<\/a>, while Harry,\u00a0 accompanied by his family and friends, got ready at a nearby apartament. <\/span>
\nThey picked up Monserrate Palace<\/a> as the ground of their wedding, where the palace\u00b4s gorgeous interiors served for a heartfelt exchange of vowes, while the stunning exteriors were an ideal location for the reception party.<\/span>
\nYou could feel the excitement filling the palace\u00b4s Piano room as the guests came trickling in, and you could see the pure happiness on Harry\u00b4\u0092s face as he saw his stunning bride walking down the arched corridor. The room quickly filled with very touching exchange of wedding vowes and the couple\u00b4s public expression of love. It was actually hard to keep the tears at guard at times – suddenly the vision came blurry as we looked through our lenses \ud83d\ude09<\/span>
\nRight at the start of the wedding reception Harry surprised the guests with something very special. After getting a microphone from the Jazz Band <\/a>and asking for the guests\u00b4attention, the air suddenly filled with fabulous Sinatra classics sang by the groom himself. It was definitely one of the highlights of this beautiful day, and Harry showed his great singing talent once again at\u00a0 the dance party later on.<\/span>
\nWe loved being part of this beautiful wedding! Details were so special and through the day you could feel and see the beauty, the love and the families and friends blending in and getting to know each other. The guests\u00b4 genuine love and well wishing to the happy newly weds was also palpable.\u00a0 Toward the end of the cocktail party we took Renata and Harry for some portrait taking and palace exploring. And the surrounding beauty, kissed with the sunsetting light was not in a short supply.<\/span><\/div>\n

Dear Renata and Harry, we ask ourselves how we get so lucky to get to know, and photograph such amazing couples like yourselves! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much for giving us the honour to document your celebration of love!! We have truly enjoyed walking through this journey with the both of you, and we wish you both much happiness in this new chapter of your lives!<\/span>
